Trish Hackett Nicola is an associate of the Board for Certification for Genealogist (BCG) and is a Certified Genealogist®. In the summer of 2016 after twenty-five years of genealogical research for other people, she retired from client work. Trish still works on projects as a public historian in Seattle, Washington. She plans to write articles on some of the fascinating stories she found during her research and give lectures occasionally. Her main interest is the Chinese Exclusion Act case files located at the National Archives at Seattle. Her blog contains a sampling of interesting files is located at ChineseExclusionFiles.com

Since retiring, Trish now spends more time working on her own Irish/German family history and would like to solve some of her genealogical mysteries, especially on her Irish lines.
